Since last post I didn't play on the Monday then played a couple games on the Tuesday but was tilting horrifically so stopped straight away. Played a full session on the Wednesday and won the Cake $10 rebuy which gave me just under 30 hours to complete a triple crown. Was down to the last 8 in the $77 Turbo on stars when got into a huge pot with 99 when in 3rd place. On a flop of 863 rainbow I 4 bet all in and was called by A8 who hit his Ace on the turn to practically knock me out. I came 2nd the next day in a $50 rebuy on Ultimate Bet but there wasn't enough runners for it to count towards my triple crown anyway. Had a massive stack in a $100 rebuy on Friday and was in 3rd with about 50 left but still managed to mess it up and finish 34th by being over aggressive instead of taking my time.
Most pleasing thing about last week was seeing me progress from 34th to 22nd in th UK rankings on Pocket Fives.

Quick post before bed, just made my second Sunday Major Final table.
I hit the front of the Party Poker Monthly Million as the bubble burst with 200 left, but then lost a few races against short stacks when I was favorite AK was owned by A4 and AJ by J8 then A10 lost to K9 and K5 so was an average stack again, but managed to work really hard and got back into the top 10 with a few tables left then on the final table bubble I had KK and lost a third of my chips to A5 who hit runner runner 55. I doubled up luckily early on with AQ v AK but then for the next couple of hours didn't get any good cards or spots, and ended up having to shove in A7 suited and lost to AJ. Finished 6th for $34500 but deflated that I didn't get any decent cards or spots.
End of the first week of this blog and I've made $36000 profit, so I will have to start again and attempt to make $20k profit in the next 7 weeks, to see if that keeps me motivated.

Played 12 tourneys/sats tonight, didn't start of great and made a few poor calls early on.
Then in the $10k $77 Bounty on Cake I flopped my third Royal Flush, called a raise with A10 of clubs and boom KQJ of clubs were sitting their in the middle. Got paid off as well as had lost 2/3 of stack shoving a flush after the board had paired on river still think it was OK but opponent had rivered the top Full house. So after my Royal Flush I managed to chill out and play well but only early cash was in that Bounty tournament for the minimum.

Managed to get on a good run in the Party $20 rebuy and got to the Final table in the chiplead, however the final table took for ever but I picked my spots well and was patient and got heads up even in chips, then the first hand I limped J5 of hearts flop was QJ5 i led out he raised me and I shoved and he called with Q9, managed to hold for my second win on Party in two days.
The same time I was three handed on Party I was just outside the money on the Full Tilt $25k $55, 72 paid 87 left I raised the button with Q9 big stack in the big blind reraised me, to 7k I had 19k behind and couldn't help myself shoving on him and lost to AJ when I should have easily made the money. Oh well got to keep working on these spots.

Got back from football and played 7 tourneys starting between 9 and 10, feel like I'm coming down with an eye infection very sore right eye. Had problems concentrating didn't play great so didn't start adding any more MTT's.
Managed to get a stack in the $10 speed re-buy on Party and got to the final table and managed to chip up nicely until heads up, there were some awful players on the final table two of them literally folded when in the big blind with 80/160k blinds and about 30 to 40k behind. Heads up I ran good and eventually got 4 to 1 chiplead and called his final push with J10 and beat his A4 to record my first win of the year. $2600 not great but finally finishing first was very pleasing.
Only other cash was a minimum in a $5 re-buy on i-poker. I'm making myself play lower buy-ins as well because there's still money to be made as there are loads of poor players.
Watching my mate Leknave on the final table of the $163 $35k on Party then heading to bed. Will start putting in some volume tomorrow.

Played 1st session on Monday and played 10, played well but was short on luck in my biggest tourney of the night the $50 re-buy on Stars, I had a decent stack with about 20to the money and was dealt pocket Aces and re-raised an early raiser who called. Flop came down K10x, and he check i bet just over half the pot and he shoved for just over half my bet, I called and he had KQ and hit another K to cripple me. Had a big stack in the $50 $24k on Tilt but still managed to miss out on the cash. Only cash of the night was in the $15 Super Turbo on Full Tilt where I came 29th out of 2124. Therefore not a very good night cash wise but played very well overall.

2nd session was Wednesday and played 8 cashed in 4, small cash in $3 rebuy on Stars and then finished 10th in the $120 Turbo on Party poker, the top 16 were paid and just before the bubble the button pushed all in and I called with AK but lost to his KQs for the chiplead. I managed to double back up twice and get into the money, then won another pot and had the chiplead but pushed utg with a3s when I had everyone covered with 13 left and huge blinds and ran into AA of my mate Cod Meharley.
Had a decent stack in the $20 rebuy on Full Tilt but ended up 15th made a poor call after raising with J10s was in a race against pocket 8's but should never have snap called for 2/3 of my stack, it wouldn't have made any difference though as a few hands later I had AKs in the cutoff and the button had QQ and I lost the race and the money would have all gone in their anyway.
Towards the end of this tourney they announced a $15 Super Turbo Omaha MTT which I entered and started well and finished 7th out of 638 got it in with 8810J v 3455 and a 5 came on the river to knock me out.
Very pleasing session still not running great but feel playing well only remember two hands that I class as mistakes and would of played differently. Still not playing enough volume yet but it will come.

2 Months $20000

I Need a new goal, after coming second in the Stars Million in late October I've hardly put in any volume, had a break in November and went to Galway in early December and cashed in the UKIPT for 3000 Euro's my first decent live cash. However when I got back again I hardly played in December. January started well on the 1st final tabled the $50 rebuy on Stars but ended up 6th for $3k and a week later final tabled the $50 rebuy on Blonde(I-poker) and messed up late on and finished 3rd for just shy of $5k. But I only made one other final table all month in a $5 rebuy.Have had no patience at all and have been playing pretty poorly wasting stacks and making mistakes I hadn't made for a long time not really enjoying it at all.

Therefore I've re-focussed and have basically set myself a goal of making $20000 profit over the next two months and basically putting in a lot of volume and start studying the game again and enjoying it as I don't really want to start looking for a 9 to 5 job in a few months time.

Another goal to complete in this time is to get my third triple crown on Pocket Fives, which is basically winning a tournament whose Prizepool is greater than $10000 on three different sites in a 7 day period. It's a lot tougher than it sounds. Shall be blogging here every few days to keep me motivated and sort out my attitude and start making some $ again.

Wish me luck.
